Intern Massage Spa: Policies
The following are policies to which you agree to abide by when you book a massage in our teaching spa:

- Good personal hygiene.
- Not here while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Cell phones off during massage.
- The client takes responsibility for personal belongings.
- Control of pressure is up to the client; clients may ask for more or less pressure.
- Please state all the medical conditions to your massage therapist.
Important SBMC Spa Policies:
- The massages offered at SBMC Spa are for therapeutic purposes only. Therefore, any sexually implicit behavior will result in the immediate termination of the session for which no refund will be given. Furthermore, you will no longer be allowed into our spa.
- The student massage therapists do not diagnose illness, disease or any physical or mental disorder; does not prescribe medical or pharmaceutical treatment and does not do spinal manipulations. This massage is not a substitute for medical care by licensed health care providers.
- Any client under 18 years old is required to have parent/guardian consent.
Other Spa Policies:
- 24 hour cancellation policy to avoid charge.
- Our massage sessions will end at the scheduled time, even if you are late in arriving. If your intern doesn’t have another massage appointment right after or doesn’t have to leave after their last massage then you may receive your full time. Please try to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your massage begins.
- We only accept Cash or Checks (No out-of-state checks). We don’t accept credit cards at our student spa.
- Gift Cards and Package Rates are available. Check for massage specials that we offer during holiday seasons!!
